Art with heart.
I help writers, publishers, and translators prepare their manuscripts for publication by providing a personalized experience full of care, understanding, and fun. I channel my joy of creating into each of my projects, whether it be polishing a nearly completed text, guiding the development of a story, or crafting an authentic translation. The end result is a quality and inspired manuscript or translation full of heart.

As a freelance editor, translator, and proofreader, I work on all types of texts, with a focus on books, as that is my primary passion. I am fluent in French as well as English; I offer all of my services in both languages. My work includes substantive editing, copy editing, and proofreading manuscripts, book translations, and marketing and communications materials. I translate books as well as marketing and communications materials, and am open to working with other types of texts.
I am copy editor and proofreader for Harrowsmith Magazine and have revised books for Pottersfield Press and Éditions Bouton d’or Acadie, where I completed two publishing internships in 2022 and 2023.
In 2025, I graduated from McGill University with a Master’s in French and a specialization in translation. My Master’s thesis, titled Queerer la langue : stratégies de traduction de langues non normatives et leurs effets sur l’identité de personnages littéraires, is about translating non-normative language (namely, dialects and non-gendered language) and how it affects literary characters’ identity. You can read it here.
During my Bachelor’s degree in English and French literatures at Mount Allison University, I was employed by the student newspaper, The Argosy, for three years, between 2020 and 2023. I was first the Creative Editor; then became the Arts, Culture, and Creative Co-Editor; and finally was appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief in my final year. Throughout my years there, I wrote a number of articles for the Arts and Culture section of the paper and edited articles for all sections.
I have been lucky enough to pursue what I love most (reading and writing) since the beginning of my as yet young career, and I only plan on growing from here. I have gained new skills and developed existing ones through my experiences, including, most notably, time management and organization, effective communication and self-responsibility, and leadership and collaboration. Most importantly, I work hard and am enthusiastic about everything I do.
